Child killed four injured in highway crash in Northern California

CHICAGO – The two victims in Tuesday’s highway crash and two other people suffered minor injuries when a Chevy pickup truck ran into them on a residential street in downtown Chicago, officials said.

The truck, a silver 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with the number 775 plastered on the back bumper, hit three vehicles near the intersection of South Kildare and LaSalle avenues about 7 p.m. Monday. The victims were a 46-year-old man in a white Chevrolet pickup truck, a 53-year-old woman in a black Chevrolet Impala truck and an 11-year-old girl in a yellow Ford Explorer, according to officials.

The six drivers in the Impala who were injured were not seriously hurt, officials said.

“It appears to have had a rear-end impact,” Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson said.

Authorities said the pickup truck was traveling west on LaSalle when it came to a hard left turn into the intersection where a silver Dodge Caravan ran into the m바카라edian, and another pickup truck on the opposite side.

The Impala then struck the white Caravan in the head and chest, officials said. No p예스카지노edestrians were injured in the crash, according to police.

No charges were filed and no charges would be filed against the driver, according to police. The driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Carmen Aguilar was at the home where her sister is a police dispatcher in the 5300 block of West North Avenue when her sister got out of her car and saw a silver silver truck backing up, she said.

Aguilar said she didn’t see the impact that hit the Caravan and couldn’t tell if it was the driver who hit her sister or someone in her backseat, said Aguilar.

She said that three years ago, her sister drove her car into the curb on West North Avenue and into her own property, where the car landed on the lawn.

“You didn’t know what hit you, and it was pretty scary. What scared me was the car,” said Aguilar. “What would a normal human being think? What would they think, someone driving their car up here on your land? This is my backyard and if you’re supposed to be an American citizen, what are you supposed to think of that?”
