Child killed four injured in highway crash in Northern California

CHICAGO – The two victims in Tuesday’s highway crash and two other people suffered minor injuries when a Chevy pickup truck ran into them on a residential street in downtown Chicago, officials said.

The truck, a silver 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with the number 775 plastered on the back bumper, hit three vehicles near the intersection of South Kildare and LaSalle avenues about 7 p.m. Monday.
